LHH is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Supply Chain Manager in Baltimore, MD. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our supply chain operations while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Job Description:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor relationships. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives.
- Oversee procurement and vendor management to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and products.
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize excess or shortages.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze and track key supply chain metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to forecast demand and align supply chain activities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor supply chain performance, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support for their development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor???s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience with supply chain software and tools (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the supply chain industry.
