The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all inventory handling and logistics functions. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory systems, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, including loaders, operators, and laborers
Monitor and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
Ensure accurate and timely inventory management through regular cycle counts, audits, and reporting
Uphold safety standards and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
Conduct safety meetings and provide training to reinforce best practices and maintain a safe working environment
Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure seamless workflow
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipping/receiving processes
Oversee maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment and tools
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support operational efficiency
Generate and submit reports on warehouse activity, employee performance, and operational metrics
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
Assist in onboarding and development of new team members
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, including supervisory or team lead responsibilities
Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, logistics software, and warehouse best practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions (heat, cold, noise)
Ability to operate a forklift
Benefits Package Includes:
$75,000- $90,000 commensurate with experience.
