LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing pharmaceutical company in Basking Ridge, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Temporary Position
Compensation- $28-30/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in the accounts payable system, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to the general ledger.
Payment Management: Prepare and process weekly payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, ensuring timely disbursement.
Vendor Management: Maintain vendor records, reconcile discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
Expense Reports: Audit and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable ledger to the general ledger and assist in resolving discrepancies.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to SOX controls and industry-specific compliance requirements for all accounts payable activities.
Reporting: Assist with accounts payable reporting, accruals, and month-end close processes.
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
Familiarity with FDA or other compliance requirements is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Knowledge of expense management tools (e.g., Concur) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to handle high volumes of invoices and maintain attention to detail.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
