Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed cost analysis and budgeting to support financial decision-making.

• Monitor and analyze production costs, variances, and inventory valuations.

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.

• Generate labor metrics, flash reports, and ROI analyses.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Collaborate with plant management to provide financial insights and recommendations.

• Ensure accurate accounting across multiple legal entities on both an accrual and cash basis.

• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues to ensure seamless operations.

• Adhere to company policies, financial controls, and compliance standards to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in cost accounting.

• Must have experience in the manufacturing industry

• Experience with Standard costing, job costing, and activity-based costing.

• Experience with cost allocation, overhead application, and variance analysis.

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data related to manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in cost accounting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
