Job Title: Billing and GL Specialist Location: Beaverton, OR Salary Range: $30-$32 per hour Employment Type: Contract to Hire, Full Time, Hybrid Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and maintain contact with clients to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve payment issues.
  • Review billing statements and accounts receivable aging reports to prioritize collection efforts.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement terms when necessary.
  • Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Billing and Collections team to identify and address systemic issues affecting collections.
  • Generate collection reports and provide regular updates on accounts receivable status.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to all legal and ethical standards in collections practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in billing, collections, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with billing and collections software and accounting systems.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- pivot tables in excel are required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to billing and collections is a plus.
