LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a full-time Chief Technology Office (CTO) to work remotely for a client of ours operating in the analystics software space. As the CTO, you will lead the strategic direction and development of the core product, managing a team of technology professionals. Your role includes overseeing product management, defining and implementing the vision and roadmap, and collaborating with key stakeholders, including the VP of Research and Development and the Senior Director of Cloud and Platform. You will drive technological innovation, strategic growth, and quality assurance, ensuring that the product remains competitive and aligned with market trends.
Responsibilities:
Develop and communicate the strategic roadmap, vision, and objectives for the product to align with business goals, including leading the planning and execution of mathematical optimization initiatives.
Lead and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, and assess current skills while identifying future skill needs.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for their relevance and potential impact.
Drive research and development efforts to enhance products, services, and solutions.
Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Oversee the development and deployment of technology solutions to address market demands.
Optimize technology contracts, vendor relationships, and internal infrastructure.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to align technology investments with long-term company objectives.
Supervise the integration of predictive and prescriptive analytics into existing and new products.
Spearhead the integration of Generative A.I. technologies across enterprise products.
Monitor trends in the analytics software industry to ensure competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
Over 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles, such as CTO or similar, with a robust background in product management, particularly in mathematical optimization or related fields.
Advanced degree (MSc or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline.
Demonstrated success in developing and commercializing innovative technology products, with a proven ability to drive growth and profitability.
Extensive knowledge of mathematical optimization algorithms and modeling languages (e.g., GAMS, AMPL), and their practical applications.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a talent for inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make decisions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation/Benefits: $250,000-$300,000 base salary + bonus + equity package.
