Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant
Location: Beaverton, OR
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid after Training
Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000 a year DOE
Exciting opportunity available for a Senior Tax Accountant position! LHH has partnered with a well-established firm in the Beaverton, OR area that is actively seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in business tax compliance and accounting, especially with high-net-worth individuals and partnership clients, including high-profile engagements. The Senior Tax Accountant will play a key role in preparing tax filings, reviewing financial statements, supporting litigation efforts, and assisting clients with out-of-date filings. Responsibilities:
Prepare and file business tax returns, extensions, and compliance reports
Assist clients with bringing overdue tax filings current
Provide litigation support related to tax matters
Review balance sheets and profit & loss statements to identify and correct accounting errors
Support preparation of accounting updates and assist with overall tax planning strategies
Requirements:
3-5+ years of experience in Public Accounting with a focus on tax and/or accounting services
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA will also be considered
Strong ability to analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or errors
Proficiency with tax and accounting software tools
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
