Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant
Location: Beaverton, OR
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid after Training
Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000 a year DOE

Exciting opportunity available for a Senior Tax Accountant position! LHH has partnered with a well-established firm in the Beaverton, OR area that is actively seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team on a direct hire basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in business tax compliance and accounting, especially with high-net-worth individuals and partnership clients, including high-profile engagements. The Senior Tax Accountant will play a key role in preparing tax filings, reviewing financial statements, supporting litigation efforts, and assisting clients with out-of-date filings. This is an opportunity to make a big impact with a respected firm that values accuracy, integrity, and deep client relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file business tax returns, extensions, and compliance reports

  • Assist clients with bringing overdue tax filings current

  • Provide litigation support related to tax matters

  • Review balance sheets and profit & loss statements to identify and correct accounting errors

  • Support preparation of accounting updates and assist with overall tax planning strategies

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Public Accounting with a focus on tax and/or accounting services

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  • CPA preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA will also be considered

  • Strong ability to analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or errors

  • Proficiency with tax and accounting software tools

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
