Procurement & Supply Chain
The Supply Chain Manager is essential to ensuring seamless sourcing of ingredients, packaging, co-manufactured goods, equipment, and other production materials—keeping operations running smoothly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecast & Plan: Analyze historical data and sales forecasts to assess inventory levels and determine short- and long-term purchasing needs.
Procure Strategically: Purchase ingredients and materials in a timely manner, balancing perishability, lead times, and safety stock requirements.
Optimize Inventory: Work with operations to define par levels and safety stock, ensuring consistent material availability without overstocking.
Negotiate & Contract: Lead pricing and contract negotiations with new and existing suppliers to secure favorable terms and maximize value.
Source & Evaluate Suppliers: Identify and vet new suppliers for quality, cost, and reliability; manage ongoing supplier performance.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Communicate procurement plans and updates with internal teams including operations, warehouse, and product development.
Drive Efficiency: Manage purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and inbound logistics to meet delivery timelines and minimize disruptions.
Ensure Financial Accuracy: Partner with accounting to reconcile POs and invoices, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Report & Improve: Develop procurement KPIs and reporting tools to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of procurement and supply chain experience
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; comfortable making data-driven decisions.
Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and adaptability.
