LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring aa Quality Engineer at our Client in Belleville, MI area. Our client is Tier One and Tier Two automotive company, Is looking for someone who will play pivotal role in optimizing business processes and ensuring product excellence. Our client’s commitment extends beyond traditional gasoline and diesel engines—they are at the forefront of electric vehicle (EV) and hydrogen fuel cell technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Quality & Engineering Manager to establish, implement, and maintain our QMS.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify issues and implement effective corrective actions.

• Drive continuous improvement using methodologies like 5S and Kaizen.

• Train production operators to prioritize quality and safety.

• Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications

• Conduct audits, prepare findings reports, and determine corrective actions.

• Investigate product failures and communicate preventive actions to customers.

• Occasionally visit customer sites to address issues.

• Manage supplier performance and conduct audits.

• Prepare Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reports.

• Lead IATF/TS certification efforts.

• Develop quality reports, including the 8D report.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Engineering or related field.

• Preferably, experience in Automotive Manufacturing and Cylinder Liner operations.

• International client experience is highly desirable.
