Position Overview:

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's network infrastructure, managing a skilled team of IT professionals, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your role will be pivotal in developing and implementing IT policies and best practices, as well as collaborating with other departments to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
  • Ensure the continuous operation and security of critical technology systems.
  • Conduct regular system audits and provide detailed reports to senior management.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks.
  • Manage the company's website and collaborate with senior management on content.
  • Stay current with industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements.

Help Desk Management:

  • Lead the IT Help Desk team to provide timely support and resolution for all IT-related issues.
  • Utilize tools to track and resolve all reported problems, optimizing service performance.

System Maintenance & Development:

  • Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the company's information systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of IT equipment and services.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to streamline operations and support business objectives.

System Security:

  • Maintain and monitor software applications and databases, ensuring system integrity and security.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience, with 2-4 years in a supervisory/management role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in network administration, SQL databases, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of delivering large-scale IT projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
