LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our client in Bellevue, WA. This contract to hire role is fully onsite.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for leading monthly close processes, creating and analyzing financial reports, reviewing invoices for accuracy, managing expense accounting, and conducting general research to support the company’s objectives and goals. This role requires excellent attention to detail and proven experience in reporting, expense accounting or research.
Responsibilities:
· Lead month-end close process
· Generate monthly reports and draft project proposals
· Review invoices to ensure accuracy
· Track and manage foundation expenses, compile expense reports and reconcile accounts
· Analyze financial results
· Perform research to support strategic decision-making
· Lead month-end close process
· Generate monthly reports and draft project proposals
· Develop presentations, dashboards and reports for stakeholders
· Identify areas for cost optimization
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
· Proven experience in reporting, expense accounting or research required
· Working knowledge of budget management and financial reporting a plus
· Understanding of compliance and GAAP preferred
· Familiarity with Power BI and Adobe systems preferred
· Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in reporting and documentation
· Strong communication skills
