Assistant Property Manager
Location: Onsite in Bend, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20–$26 per hour, (Depending on Experience)
Duration: 2-4 month contract initially, with good opportunity to convert to a permanent hire
About the Role:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to immediately join our client's onsite team in Bend, Oregon. This role supports the daily operations of a residential property, ensuring a high standard of service for residents and assisting with administrative, leasing, and maintenance coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day property management operations
- Respond to resident inquiries and service requests promptly and professionally
- Support leasing activities including tours, applications, and move-in/move-out processes
- Maintain accurate records of rent payments, lease agreements, and tenant communications
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep
- Help enforce community rules and policies
- Prepare reports and assist with budgeting and financial tracking
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in property management, real estate, or affordable housing is highly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with property management software or the ability to learn a new system
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in property management are a plus
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
