Job Title: Director of Accounting

Reports To: VP Corporate Controller

Direct Reports: n/a - helps oversee a team of 3 staff

Office Location: West Los Angeles, CA | On-site with some hybrid flexibility

Salary Range: $150,000 to $170,000 based on experience + 15% annual target bonus

LHH Recruitment Solutions (Los Angeles) is partnering with an entertainment company in West Los Angeles to hire a Director of Accounting.

Description:

• Manage the month-end close process; oversight of GL, and all financial reporting including consolidations

• Support technical accounting research – understanding/applying of ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 926, etc.

• Support finance with cash management and cash forecasting

• Assist with managing participations and residuals processes

Qualifications:

• 7 years of progressive accounting experience

• Public accounting background in audit from a Big 4 / Top 10 firm

• Entertainment industry experience with knowledge of participations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA license
