Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for both remote and in-office work.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Manage consolidations and intercompany transactions.
Consolidate financials for multiple entities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment industry.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
