Position Overview:

The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in the Mass Torts/Class Action Defense practice area. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to manage a high-volume caseload, and work effectively as part of a collaborative legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions

  • Draft legal documents including subpoenas and pleadings

  • Conduct case analysis and ensure all deadlines are met

  • Summarize medical and billing records, as well as deposition transcripts

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution

  • Perform Federal and State e-filing

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • High level of motivation and initiative

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe

  • Experience with iManage

  • Familiarity with Aderant billing software is a plus
