LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have at least 2–3 years of paralegal experience with a focus on litigation. Experience in insurance defense is highly desirable but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation including drafting documents, managing case files, and coordinating discovery

  • Prepare and file legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence

  • Organize and maintain case materials, including electronic filing and record keeping

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances

  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal

  • Prior exposure to insurance defense litigation is a strong plus

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in legal research tools and case management software
