LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Continuous Improvement Manger for our client in the North Reading, PA area. This fully on-site direct hire role focuses on continuous improvement strategizing and will require approximately 10% travel in the area. This position requires a strong background in problem solving methodology as well as value stream mapping. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years’ experience within continuous improvement planning, most recently within a direct manufacturing environment including multi-facilities, as well as being highly proficient creation of and conducting trainings to employees.

Salary Range - $110-120k annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have proven experience in value stream mapping with a high focus on Current State.

• Collaborate with management and other internal teams to establish continuous improvement goals/objectives and overall direction.

• Identify areas to develop significant Six Sigma opportunities for improvement throughout the organization.

• Multi-site management required.

• Familiarity in R and/or Minitab highly preferred.

• Continuously network with internal/external resources to bring best current practices to improvement projects.

• Develop training materials, facilitate training for Six Sigma processes and principles.

• Provide education, training and mentoring to employees on Six Sigma principles and techniques.

• Facilitates and leads the continuous improvement process and projects by identifying training needs and leading trainings in problem solving methodology, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, etc.

• Ensure open communication throughout the organization.

• Collaborate and present statuses of ongoing project status and ensure coordination of Six Sigma activities.

• Oversee the development and ongoing maintenance of methods and systems for measuring to ensure goals, objectives and metrics are being met and maintained

• Must have proven strong knowledge of Six Sigma processes and methodologies within a manufacturing environment.

• Must have proven experience with Value Stream Mapping and management of Kaizen events.

• Must have proven knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes,

• Ideal candidates will be able to present experience in Continuous flow, set up reduction, pull systems, TPM and 5S practices.

• Must have excellent time management, prioritization, communication, planning and organizational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
