Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team at a leading healthcare recruiting company. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working three days in the office and two days from home, providing a perfect balance of collaboration and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare or recruiting industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
