LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for a well-established manufacturing organization in Boardman, Ohio. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, enhancing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the plant.
Position Overview:
The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep experience in Lean methodologies and Six Sigma practices, capable of influencing change and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and cost reductions across production, quality, and supply chain functions.
Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and other CI tools to drive sustainable improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standardize processes.
Develop and deliver training programs to build CI capabilities across the organization.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and impact of improvement initiatives.
Serve as a change agent, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
10+ years of focused continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent required.
Proven track record of leading successful CI initiatives with quantifiable results.
Strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
