Accountant

LHH is hiring for an Accountant in the Boca Raton, FL area. Our client is looking for an Accountant with a strong background. This is a growing and great company to work for that offers a Hybrid work schedule.

· Responsible for the general ledger to ensure entries are made accurately and on time, including account reconciliations.

· Supervise the month end close process to ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information by the designated deadlines

· Review bank statement reconciliations

· Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate well with all levels of employees across the company

You are a great fit if:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

· CPA license in process strongly preferred

· At least 3 years of experience as an accountant working in public accounting and/or a large corporation

· Knowledge and exposure to GAAP, including the ability to research and apply GAAP principles

· Knowledge of accounting systems such WorkDay
