Risk Adjustment Medical Coder
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Risk Adjustment Coder for our healthcare client located in Boise, Idaho. This role will be a hybrid opportunity (with potential to become remote), and a contract role for our client. Interested candidates must be CPC and CRC Certified and must sit within the state of Idaho.
This role will ensure that medical charts are coded properly as well as perform risk adjustment reports and identify and work with internal staff to recognize trends within coding and documentation in order to improve reimbursement efficiency.
RequirementsHigh School Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred
Must be CPC AND CRC Certified - no exceptions
Minimum 3 years experience in medical coding/risk adjustment coding
Able to work well within Microsoft Office and EMR Systems
Skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well independently and meet production metrics as given by management
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Can work within multiple software systems
