We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance and manage procedures for our customer accounts. This position will involve processing credit applications, overseeing collections efforts, and managing the cash application process. The ideal candidate will have a background in Supply Chain or Equipment Sales along with excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Details:

  • $50,000-$60,000 + bonus

​​​​​​​Key Duties:

  • Facilitate the credit application process for both new and existing clients, including reviewing D&B reports and credit references to support credit assessments.

  • Lead the collections process by reaching out to customers regarding overdue payments and negotiating repayment options.

  • Conduct follow-ups on unpaid invoices, resolving any disputes or payment challenges.

  • Maintain precise records of collection activities and interactions with accounts.

  • Receive and apply incoming customer payments through processing of cash and lockbox accounts

  • Investigate and resolve unapplied payments, shortages or disputes with customers

  • Manage accounts receivable inbox

  • Produce and analyze reports on accounts receivable, aging accounts, and collection outcomes.

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, effectively addressing any credit or payment concerns.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • A solid understanding of cash application and collections processes, along with a strong desire to learn and grow in the role.

  • High attention to detail

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.

  • We are looking for a professional, proactive individual who takes initiative and demonstrates intelligence in their work.



Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
