Accounting Specialist/Full Charge Bookkeeper

LHH Recruitment is hiring for an Accounting Specialist/Full charge bookkeeper in the Bonita Springs, FL area. Our client is looking for an Accounting Specialist with a strong general accounting background to include AP, AR, Reconciliation, Financial statement preparation, Journal entries, Payroll, and more. This position is a hybrid opportunity with a growing company.

You are a great fit if:

· Full Cycle Accounting Experience

· Payroll experience a plus

· Prior public accounting experience a plus

· Advanced excel

· QuickBooks and Bill pay experience

· Bachelors degree in accounting preferred or related work experience

· CPA a plus or in the process of obtaining license

Responsibilities to include:

· Reconciling client bank account statements

· Preparing journal entries

· Updating depreciation and amortization schedules

· Preparing compiled financial statements

· Preparing payroll tax quarterly returns, annual employee W2s and payee 1099s

· Providing payroll tax support to clients

· Maintaining clients' accounting software and files
