LHH is partnering with an exciting company in the manufacturing industry to search for a temporary Accounting Specialist. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting experience and be comfortable in a high-volume environment. Your main responsibilities will be handling AP invoices, expense reports, and managing the aging report. You will work with a friendly team in a fun office setting. The opportunity will allow for hybrid work after training in the Bothell, WA office.

Responsibilities

  • Handle vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and matching.
  • Submit payables weekly and prepare payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer.
  • Generate and submit invoices, match payments, and manage postings.
  • Maintain aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, prepare and make weekly deposits.
  • Update profiles, assign credit cards, process reports, and provide ad-hoc reporting.
  • Identify and implement improvements to automate tasks.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • At least two years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and Concur is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Curious and detail-oriented mindset.
Employment Details
  • Temporary for six months.
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Hybrid after training in the Bothell, WA office.


Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
