LHH is currently partnering with a Global Consulting Firm to hire an HR Associate to join their team. This position is located in Prince George’s County and offers flexible hybrid/remote work options. It is a temporary role through December 2025, with the possibility of extension into 2026. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in HR. The hourly pay rate ranges from $23 to $26, depending on experience. The role involves working closely with the HR ticketing system and inbox to assist with requests, inquiries, and updates. Prior experience in HR, retail, and customer support is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-hire employment screenings and facilitate the full onboarding process including orientation, paperwork completion, and creation of employee HR files

  • Assist with I-9 verification and related compliance projects

  • Coordinate calendar scheduling for training programs and ensure smooth logistical execution

  • Support invoice processing by maintaining spreadsheets, handling incoming mail, and performing accurate data entry

  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and general HR questions

  • Participate in recruitment activities including screening candidates, managing job postings, and coordinating interviews

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources, ideally with a background in retail and customer support

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate between $23 - $26 per hour
