Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a long-term temporary assignment in Branchburg, NJ. This is a fully onsite role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process high-volume invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors
Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
Assist with month-end closing and reporting
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard business hours
Compensation:
$30–$32 per hour, based on experience
