Accounts Receivable Specialist – (Healthcare)

Job Description:

Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for medical billing? We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a healthcare provider. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process claims accurately using your knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis and CPT codes

  • Manage various insurance types, including HMO, PPO, EPO, and Workers Comp

  • Check patient eligibility and benefits status to ensure precise billing.

  • Follow up on outstanding claims to secure timely payments.

  • Utilize and learn our insurance Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) system

  • Maintain a persistent and polite demeanor when interacting with patients and insurance companies.

  • Demonstrate high energy, tolerance, and patience in all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of recent A/R experience in a medical setting.

  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • This is an ONSITE position, Part Time up to 30 hours a week.
