Accounts Receivable Specialist – (Healthcare)
Job Description:
Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for medical billing? We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a healthcare provider. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Process claims accurately using your knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis and CPT codes
Manage various insurance types, including HMO, PPO, EPO, and Workers Comp
Check patient eligibility and benefits status to ensure precise billing.
Follow up on outstanding claims to secure timely payments.
Utilize and learn our insurance Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) system
Maintain a persistent and polite demeanor when interacting with patients and insurance companies.
Demonstrate high energy, tolerance, and patience in all tasks.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of recent A/R experience in a medical setting.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an ONSITE position, Part Time up to 30 hours a week.
