Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with at least 2 years of experience to join our team in Nashville, TN. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will work directly with our finance team to ensure accuracy in financial reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, and contribute to month-end closing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliation of financial statements.

• Review and enter invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.

• Manage vendor communication and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.

• Reconcile accounts and prepare reports as required by management.

• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits as needed.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Experience with accounting software (Lawson, Oracle, or similar preferred).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

Pay: $70k
