LHH has partnered with a growing client to assist them in finding their next Benefits Manager. They will oversee the daily operations of the employee benefits programs and make important decisions on behalf of our client.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
Manage the open enrollment process, including plan selection, communication materials, employee education, and system updates.
Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers by analyzing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information.
Recommend benefit plan design changes and enhancements based on analysis of competitive trends and employee needs.
Ensure benefits programs comply with federal and state laws and regulations, such as ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and the Affordable Care Act.
Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, including negotiating contracts and fees.
Oversee the performance of third-party administrators to ensure service level agreements are met.
Coordinate with vendors for benefits plan audits and address any issues or discrepancies.
Develop and deliver communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits options and changes.
Analyze the cost of benefits programs and suggest cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
4+ years of experience in benefits administration preferred.
Strong knowledge of employee benefits plans, policies, and regulations.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and benefits administration software.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours
8:00am-5:00pm
