Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Staff Accountant in Bridgeview, IL. They are open to candidates with staff accounting experience or entry level candidates, but the candidates must have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting to qualify.

While internship experience or more extensive accounting background is preferred, it is not mandatory. The company is open to training the right candidate, provided they hold a degree in accounting.

Location: 100% Onsite in Bridgeview, IL 60454

Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $50-55K (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Help prepare financial documents, such as balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.

• Keep accounts payable and receivable records up to date.

• Record and process journal entries to ensure accurate documentation of business transactions.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

• Contribute to the budgeting process and assist with financial forecasting.

• Aid senior accountants and financial managers with audits and other accounting tasks.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

• Generate regular financial reports and summaries for management review.

• Perform additional accounting-related duties as needed.
