Summary
Member of the Finance team that will ensure accurate processing and recording of payroll providing timely and accurate financial information. This position will impact a rapidly growing organization and offers career development opportunities for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain electronic timekeeping system
- Collect timesheet data and payroll information
- Enter data into payroll databases, included but not limited to W4, 401k deferrals, Garnishments, Child Support, Union dues, etc.
- Process payroll and ensure completion of payroll on a timely manner
- Process manual checks when necessary
- Report monthly hours and wages along with payments due to various Unions
- Maintain and update personnel records by reviewing and entering changes in exemptions, status, and pay; assigning PTO plans
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues/concerns
- Generate/Reconcile payment requests via AP department for all employee contributions
- Minimum of an Associates degree
- 2 years minimum experience processing multi-state payroll
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices preferred
- Working knowledge of UltiPro Payroll system and Business Intelligence Reporting is a Plus
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Strong work ethic and team player
- High degree of professionalism
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Fluent in Spanish is preferred
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
