Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Training Specialist to support the learning and development efforts across our organization. This role focuses on assessing training needs, developing learning strategies, coordinating program delivery, and ensuring the alignment of training initiatives with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in analyzing skill and knowledge gaps among corporate staff and support similar assessments at plant locations when needed
Help identify effective training options and decide whether to utilize in-house expertise or external providers
Contribute to business case development for recommended training solutions
Assist in creating and refining custom learning programs for various audiences, including onboarding, leadership development, functional training, and career growth initiatives
Lead or co-facilitate training sessions, including those delivered by outside vendors
Collaborate with external partners to communicate learning goals, align expectations, and oversee deliverables
Provide guidance to employees and teams in designing and deploying learning initiatives that meet operational goals
Support and occasionally deliver plant-level training sessions
Manage and maintain systems to track participation, progress, and completion of corporate training programs
Coordinate all logistical aspects of training delivery—booking venues, ordering materials, arranging catering, managing tools, and liaising with vendors
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training & Development, or a similar field
5-10+ years experience (or equivalent skill)
Industry-recognized training certifications are a plus
Familiarity with adult learning principles and practical application in workplace learning
Hands-on experience designing and facilitating custom training for employees at all levels
Confident presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder engagement abilities
Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet-based tools
Pay Details: $65.00 to $78.00 per hour
