LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturer of dietary supplements and nutritional ingredients to identify a Purchasing Specialist to join their team in Broomfield, CO. Position Overview
The Purchasing Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials and packaging components to support production schedules. This includes managing vendor relationships, navigating international logistics, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase raw materials, packaging, and consumables
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with domestic and international vendors
Align purchasing efforts with production needs across departments
Manage international logistics including freight, customs, and import/export compliance
Maintain accurate records and vendor information in ERP systems
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
2–5 years of purchasing experience within dietary supplement, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Solid understanding of import/export regulations and documentation
ERP system proficiency and strong Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of cGMP and FDA requirements (21 CFR 111 and/or 117)
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and vendor management capabilities
