Purchasing Specialist
Location: On-site in Broomfield, CO
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturer of dietary supplements and nutritional ingredients to identify a Purchasing Specialist to join their team in Broomfield, CO. Position Overview


The Purchasing Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials and packaging components to support production schedules. This includes managing vendor relationships, navigating international logistics, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase raw materials, packaging, and consumables

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with domestic and international vendors

  • Align purchasing efforts with production needs across departments

  • Manage international logistics including freight, customs, and import/export compliance

  • Maintain accurate records and vendor information in ERP systems

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of purchasing experience within dietary supplement, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing

  • Solid understanding of import/export regulations and documentation

  • ERP system proficiency and strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Knowledge of cGMP and FDA requirements (21 CFR 111 and/or 117)

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and vendor management capabilities
