LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Controller role for a small but growing US subsidiary of an international manufacturer based in northern Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years progressive accounting experience including leadership skills, ideally in the manufacturing industry. Controller duties will include the following:
· Oversee the finance department, including supervision of Accountant
· Handle budgeting, audits, tax obligations, accounting functions, and administrative duties for the organization.
· Maintain financial ledgers and manage accounting processes.
· Prepare monthly consolidated Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets for the international parent company.
· Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory and internal financial reports.
· Provide financial analysis reports as required.
· Manage cash flow and perform treasury-related tasks.
· Implement and uphold effective systems and internal controls.
· Work closely with external CPA firm.
· Oversee and analyze physical inventory processes and reporting.
· Collaborate with Human Resources on matters related to benefits, including 401(k) plans and other employee benefits.
· Work closely with Production, Sales, and Purchasing teams regarding inventory and pricing matters.
Desired Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Three or more years of experience in the accounting field; Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
· Possess the ability to multitask and work collaboratively as well as independently
· Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
· ERP system experience
