The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts by building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role blends traditional inside sales functions with account management duties, including onboarding, retention, and cross-selling. This is a Direct Hire opportunity located near Buffalo Grove, IL.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to understand evolving needs and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate with outside sales and customer success teams to deliver a cohesive client experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), including contact info, activity logs, and opportunity tracking
- Follow up on inbound leads and proactively generate new business through outbound calls and emails.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product information tailored to client needs.
- Close transactional sales and coordinate with fulfillment teams to ensure timely delivery and service
- Assist with onboarding new clients, including documentation, portal setup, and training.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, logistics) to resolve issues and ensure smooth order processing.
- Support trade show logistics and marketing campaigns as needed
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer success.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Epicor).
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
