Patient Registration Representative – Night Shift (EPIC Experience Required)

🕒 Schedule: Night Shift | 5x8-Hour (7:00 PM – 3:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Patient Registration Representative to support a leading healthcare provider during the night shift. This is a vital front-line role that ensures a seamless and compassionate experience for patients during registration and financial clearance.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families during check-in and registration.

• Accurately collect and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information.

• Perform insurance eligibility checks, referral and authorization verification, and patient liability estimates.

• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service.

• Maintain and update patient records in EPIC and other hospital systems.

• Support additional functions such as cashiering, bed management, and communications as needed.

• Enhance the patient experience by providing clear, empathetic communication and guidance.

✅ Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in patient registration within a hospital or clinical setting.

• Strong proficiency in EPIC is a must—please ensure this is clearly listed on your resume.

• Familiarity with insurance terminology, EMTALA, and consent laws.

• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently during overnight hours and every other weekend.
