Job Opportunity: Patient Registration Specialist (Night Shift)
Shift: Night Shift (7:00pm - 3:30am) with every other weekend required
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Patient Registration Specialist for a 3 month or longer contract role with a confidential hospital. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience by being the main point of contact during the registration process. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving healthcare company.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction: Greet patients and family members, verify and obtain necessary information for accurate registration and financial clearance.
Registration Process: Complete patient registration, including entering information, collecting signatures, and imaging documents.
Insurance Verification: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, provide financial education, and collect payments.
Customer Service: Enhance the patient experience by providing exceptional service and demonstrating knowledge of the hospital's system and services.
Continuous Improvement: Support and contribute to the improvement of patient access processes.
Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with team members and other departments.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least 1 year of recent relevant experience in patient registration.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong EPIC experience is required.
Knowledge of patient access, financial counseling, insurance, and medical terminology.
Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with confidential information and meet customer service standards.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
