Job Opportunity: Patient Registration Specialist (Night Shift)

Shift: Night Shift (7:00pm - 3:30am) with every other weekend required

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Patient Registration Specialist for a 3 month or longer contract role with a confidential hospital. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience by being the main point of contact during the registration process. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving healthcare company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Interaction: Greet patients and family members, verify and obtain necessary information for accurate registration and financial clearance.

• Registration Process: Complete patient registration, including entering information, collecting signatures, and imaging documents.

• Insurance Verification: Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, provide financial education, and collect payments.

• Customer Service: Enhance the patient experience by providing exceptional service and demonstrating knowledge of the hospital's system and services.

• Continuous Improvement: Support and contribute to the improvement of patient access processes.

• Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with team members and other departments.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

• Experience: At least 1 year of recent relevant experience in patient registration.

• Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong EPIC experience is required.

  • Knowledge of patient access, financial counseling, insurance, and medical terminology.

  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work with confidential information and meet customer service standards.
