Information Security Analyst – DevSecOps
Location: Onsite at Naval Base Point Mugu (near Camarillo, CA)
Clearance: Active T5/Secret clearance required; must be eligible to obtain Top Secret

Salary: $120,000 – $155,000 (commensurate with experience and clearance level)

We are seeking a hands-on and highly motivated Information Security Analyst with DevSecOps expertise to support our client—a premier defense contractor embedded in U.S. Department of Defense operations. In this role, you will be a key contributor to securing cloud-based and on-premise environments by embedding security practices into the software development lifecycle and automation pipelines. Key Responsibilities

Information Assurance:

• Plan, implement, and monitor system security protocols.

• Assess and mitigate vulnerabilities to protect sensitive defense systems.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and maintain audit readiness.

• Respond to incidents including breaches, malware, and access control issues.

• Collaborate with ISSOs and Cybersecurity Leads to ensure secure network operations.

DevSecOps Integration:

• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.

• Automate security checks using industry tools and scripting.

• Act as a DevSecOps ambassador across engineering teams.

• Support continuous feedback loops for secure software delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 3–10 years of relevant experience in secure network/system architecture.

• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices in CI/CD environments (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and open-source security tools.

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with RMF (Risk Management Framework).

• U.S. Citizenship and Active T5/Secret Clearance (Top Secret eligibility required).

Certifications Required:

• Security+

• CISSP or NSA equivalent

• IAM Level 2 (DoD Directive 8570.01 compliance)

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Computer or Information Science (or related field)

• 6 additional years of experience without a degree

• 4 additional years with an associate degree
