LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee the daily operations and financial performance of properties in Canby and Milwaukie, OR. This position requires previous experience in property management, preferably with knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit)
Hours/Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Canby, OR (97013) Tuesday, Thursday: Milwaukie, OR 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Details: Competitive salary based on experience
Location: Canby, OR (97013) and Milwaukie, OR
Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies to enhance property value and maximize financial returns.
- Process rent increase notices and ensure timely implementation.
- Track and reconcile properties' Accounts Receivables.
- Handle issuance and processing of unpaid and late rent notices.
- Manage rent collection, maintain petty cash, and ensure accurate accounting.
- Supervise property staff and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Foster positive tenant relations and maintain a helpful manner at all times.
- Complete and submit weekly reports and maintain organized resident records.
- Assist in property inspections and ensure hazard-free conditions.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Facilitate resident transfers and maintain waiting lists.
- Show apartments, screen applicants, and manage move-in processes.
- Develop and implement resident retention strategies.
- Address resident complaints and enforce rental agreements and policies.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours.
- Previous experience in property management, with knowledge of LIHTC preferred.
- Strong understanding of property operations including leasing, collections, maintenance, and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with federal and state housing regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and property management software.
Additional Information:
- Possibility of permanent position with onsite living option at the Greenbrier property (apartment provided).
- Candidates must be willing to consider onsite living to qualify for permanent position conversion.
