Accounts Payable Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk for a client of ours in the Canton, OH area.


Responsibilities:



  • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.


  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.


  • Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system.


  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.


  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.


  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.


  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.


  • Maintain vendor files and ensure all documentation is accurate.


  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.


  • Provide support for audits and other financial reviews.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.


  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role.


  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.


  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.


  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Job Type: Contract to Hire


Location: Canton, OH


Hours: 7-4 or 8-5 | Fully in office for training and hybrid after


Dress: Business Casual – Jeans and tennis shoes are ok!


Pay: $19 – 21/hr.
