LHH is partnering with a dynamic and growing manufacturing company located in Carlsbad, CA to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to their domestic and international clients. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team and to help manage the client accounts and ensure timely collections.
Job Description: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining healthy financial relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Client Accounts: Maintain accurate records of client accounts and invoices.
Collections: Proactively follow up with clients to obtain payment for domestic and international invoices, either through collections calls or appropriate email communication.
Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of assigned accounts and analyze discrepancies. Resolve any billing or payment issues promptly.
Aging Reports: Prepare and analyze aging reports to assess the status of outstanding invoices. Make informed decisions to improve the collections process.
Payment Processing: Accurately process and apply client payments, ensuring they are allocated to the correct invoices.
Credit Memos: Process credit memos as needed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Month-End Close: Assist with the month-end close process by providing accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable data.
Audit Support: Support both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and answering inquiries related to accounts receivable.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Associates Degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
Strong customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with an accounting ERP system is a plus (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
A commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity in all financial transactions.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
