LHH is partnering with a healthcare company in Carlsbad, CA to hire a detail-oriented and proactive Budget Analyst to support financial operations for multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to contribute to a growing organization by enhancing budget oversight and financial transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track budgets for multiple healthcare grants

  • Monitor expenditures, compare actuals to budgeted amounts, and deliver insightful variance analyses and projections.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to provide clear financial recommendations and ensure alignment with program goals.

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions with the general ledger.

  • Extract and analyze financial data from Excel, general ledger systems, and enterprise platforms

  • Build and maintain Power Queries in Excel to streamline reporting and data analysis.

  • Present financial findings and trends to cross-functional teams in a clear, actionable format.

  • Operate independently while maintaining strong communication with finance and operations stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of similar or relatable experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but relevant work experience will be considered

  • Proven experience in budget tracking and financial analysis, preferably in a healthcare or grant-funded environment.

  • Proficiency in Excel (including Power Query) and familiarity with general ledger and EPM systems.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into strategic insights.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work model.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
