LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing Construction company located in Carlsbad, CA to hire an individual for an Construction Billing Specialist (AIA) role. The position is onsite at our client's beautiful office and the hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Duties:
Responsible for billing for assigned clients
AIA Billing process (G702 and G703)
Analyze any billing variances and discrepancies
Communicate with clients and address and resolve any billing issues
Update internal accounting system with payment amounts and document statuses
Track lien releases and lien waivers for assigned projects
Ensure federal and state compliance laws are being adhered to
Assist in special projects and process improvement
Skills and Education Requirements:
Associates degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 2 years of similar experience within the construction industry
Knowledge of lien releases and lien waivers
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and follow-up skills
