Location: In-office, Carlsbad 92008
Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $22-$23 per hour

Are you a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a knack for pivoting between tasks and a willingness to help and learn? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you!

As a Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you'll be a key player in keeping things running smoothly. You'll help with terms, preparing new hire packets, and answer payroll-related questions. Plus, you'll handle general admin tasks and make sure everything in the office is in tip-top shape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with extending job offers and verifying new hire paperwork.
  • Initiate and track pre-employment screening processes, ensuring timely completion.
  • Notify HR Managers of any issues affecting the pre-employment process or projected start dates.
  • Prepare and collect required new hire documentation, including I-9 forms, benefits enrollment forms, ID badges, and more.
  • Upload documents to employee records to ensure compliance.
  • Track employee status in programs and follow up as needed.
  • Maintain tracking tools and reports related to onboarding, evaluations, and employee data.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and process termination requests in compliance with state laws.
  • Submit hours verifications for employees and manage harassment training tracker.
  • Handle special projects and assignments as needed.
  • Update employee personal information in the database.
  • Assist with password resets and provide requested documents such as W2s or verification of hours.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction industry is a plus


Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
