HR Assistant job in Carlsbad, CA

LHH has partnered with a growing company in Carlsbad that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join their team! You will assist the HR department with a variety of well-rounded HR duties and provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow if you are interested in HR, with a supportive and collaborative work environment and the chance to work with a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in HR.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the HR department with a variety of well-rounded HR duties.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the HR Department.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain employee records and update HR database.
  • Organize and schedule appointments and interviews.
  • Help organize and coordinate HR events and training sessions.
  • Perform other entry-level HR duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Proven administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).

Compensation:
  • $22.00-$23.00 per hour
  • Contract-To-Hire

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Onsite in their Carlsbad office
