📌 Job Title: Project Manager – Non-Technical Program Management
📍 Location: Onsite | Carlsbad, CA 92010
💵 Pay Rate: Up to $39.13/hour (W2)


🔍 Position Summary:

An experienced Project Manager is needed to lead global operations programs focused on transferring manufacturing of reagents and consumables across international locations. This role will oversee complex initiatives such as product transfers, manufacturing line transitions, new product introductions, and other cross-functional programs. The ideal candidate excels in structured program leadership, risk management, and continuous improvement.


🛠 Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement multiple operations programs

  • Define project scopes, goals, deliverables, and resource needs

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and manage key documentation

  • Track milestones and report status to cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders

  • Lead globally dispersed teams to ensure timely and high-quality project execution

  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives while managing cost and quality

  • Support the transition of projects to operational ownership post-launch

  • Ensure all activities comply with EHS, regulatory, and quality standards (ISO9001/ISO13485)

  • Coach and support peers on project management methodologies

  • Evaluate post-launch performance and drive ongoing improvements


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Operations, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management

  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, risk management, and stakeholder communication

  • Proven ability to lead international, cross-functional teams

  • Proficient in project management software and documentation tools

  • Experience in a regulated environment (ISO9001 or ISO13485)

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification preferred

  • Background in life sciences or medical devices

  • Familiarity with cGMP and quality system regulations

  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies

  • Operations management experience is a plus



Pay Details: $35.00 to $39.00 per hour
