Company Overview: Our client, a reputable organization in Carmel, IN, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide maternity leave coverage. Job Description:
As the Temporary HR Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations while the permanent HR Manager is on maternity leave. You will be responsible for managing all HR-related activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and be able to quickly adapt to the company???s culture and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
Handle employee relations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters.
Lead performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
Support ongoing HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Maintain and update HR records and documentation.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Hybrid Schedule: T, W, Th in Office and M, F Remote
Assignment Length
approximately 16 weeks (potential for extension)
