Billing Manager – Carmel, IN
Pay: $25–$30/hour | Full-Time | On-Site
A well-established healthcare organization in Carmel is seeking a skilled and motivated Billing Manager to lead their billing operations. This is a confidential search conducted by a third-party recruitment partner on behalf of the employer.
Position Overview:
As the Billing Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the billing department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims, payments, and account reconciliations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical billing, leadership experience, and a passion for improving financial workflows in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support billing staff to ensure productivity and accuracy
  • Monitor billing processes, including claims submission, payment posting, and follow-ups
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues
  • Train new team members and implement process improvements
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in medical billing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines, coding, and reimbursement processes
  • Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records (EHR)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in medical billing or coding preferred
