Medical Billing Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a healthcare organization in the Carmel area to hire a Medical Billing Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced billing professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for improving revenue cycle operations.

In this role, you’ll oversee the full billing process—from claims submission and payment posting to denial resolution and compliance monitoring. You’ll also supervise a billing team and collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient, accurate revenue management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full-cycle medical billing, including charge entry, claims submission, A/R follow-up, and denial management

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific billing requirements

  • Monitor and manage patient balances and collection efforts

  • Analyze billing trends and prepare reports for leadership

  • Train and supervise billing staff and act as liaison for payers and patients

  • Identify and implement process improvements within billing operations

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)

  • 3–5 years of medical billing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role

  • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial payers

  • Proficient in billing software

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Experience in nonprofit or community health settings is a plus

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
