This company is at the forefront of the transportation industry and is committed to driving progress for its customers. They are currently offering a contract position for a Senior Accountant anticipated to span 3 to 6 months.
Position: Senior Accountant (On-site, Full-time Contract)
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee quarterly and annual financial reports and analyses.
- Generate and present financial summaries and reports for executive review.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies, including employee benefit plan accounting.
- Serve as the point of contact for external auditors and internal process owners.
- Spearhead process enhancements and the establishment of controls and solutions.
- Undertake additional projects as directed by management.
- Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience and a solid grasp of GAAP.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- CPA certification is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with AS400 or OneStream XF.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented competencies.
